If you are in pink....

Wow!!! Looks like a lot of people around the world will be in pink in honour of MGR tomorrow!!! So, let's add another twist to show how far the love for her reaches around the world. If you would, please take a picture and email it to Julie and Noah at the address below. You can be as creative as you would like to be. For instance, if you are in San Antonio and close to the Alamo, take a picture there. We would like to post these pictures on the blog to show everyone how large a foot print Magdalena has made!!

  19. This is our e-mail I couldn't get it to connect and send. Let me know and I will make it work......

Here is our pictures of the Celebration in Pink" at our house in honor of your sweet little Magdalena. You will never know the blessing that she has brought to us. Even though we are amoung the "blogsters" and don't know you in real life, your baby girl has done so much to help mend our hearts. You were given the blessing of a few more days that we missed with our little Mackenzie. In a way we lived that time through your sweet daughter.

Thank you for allowing us a peek into the wonderful world of Magdalena! I hope that your hearts are healing and rejoicing. I know the tears well and my heart aches for you both. There is light on the otherside, somedays it is just hard to find.

All the girls in the house wore pink for the day, but I couldn't get in the picture too. I hope you enjoy the tribute from around the world.

Kendall in pink with her dolly dressed in pink and soybean the pink pig.

This morning Magdalena left this world to be with Jesus. There really isn't too much else I can say but to please pray for Julie and Noah. For now, they do not want any calls, emails or visits. I will you keep you updated on the arrangements.

Making the Decision to Not Make the Decision

I get the question, "Are you going to have any more kids?" asked often. Since finding out Magdalena's diagnosis it was always a tough question to answer. We had always envisioned ourselves with multiple children, but there was always the lingering thought of having to endure this difficult situation again. Although it is less than a one percent chance that we would have another child with T18, the percentage still exists. When pregnant, I said multiple times that I couldn't do this again and my mom constantly reminded me that it is not always that difficult. Being pregnant was physically uncomfortable, but I was referring to the constant emotional exhaustion. As Magdalena continued to do well, Noah and I weren't sure when to begin thinking about other children. Noah and I discussed that I would work really hard at losing my weight, but I was willing to be five pounds more than what I was originally. People poked fun at my not eating Magdalena's birthday cakes
